This is a pre-sales leadership position where you will be responsible for driving storage hardware and software revenue in the data center space. Within the assigned territory you will proactively manage an opportunity pipeline in conjunction with the territory sales team. It requires the ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate on the development of innovative, tailored solutions for clients and prospects. You will work on identifying opportunities and defining solutions that include storage but also servers, data protection solutions, virtualization, and business continuity. You know how to gather the client data required to effectively tailor a solution. You understand the various ways a solution may be delivered and can anticipate what will work best for a given client. By combining your technical expertise with your business acumen you provide vital, detailed information about how IBM solutions deliver business value to our clients.
