This position requires an individual who creates, identifies, and expands opportunities within Sytem Z business with the assigned customers . This Technical Sales specialist determines business needs and requirements, designs and sells System Z solutions that address customer needs and requirements, and positions the solution in terms of what it will do for the customer-s business.
The person , in this role, can justify solutions from a financial perspective, effectively use tools and resources to close sales, and work within accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and build/maintain customer relationships.
The System Z Sales Specialist has a broad knowledge of the features, functions and benefits of z9 solutions. This specialist knows System Z hardware, software and services/offerings, as well as competitive offerings and what differentiates the z9. This specialist knows the GBM/IBM support structure and available resources, and keeps up with IBM and industry trends in order to best position customer solutions.
Skills:

  • Open , able to work within an international multicultural team and to do important parts of his own job in full autonomy
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience supporting IBM zSeries solutions
  • Ability to work in complex IT infrastructure environments
  • Performs a majority of customer-related work independently
  • Good knowledge of :
    1. System Z HW Architecture
    2. Operating Systems : Z/OS (and Z/VM, Z/VSE, Linux)
    3. IBM middleware within the System Z Infrastructure
 
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
   
SALARIES : Generous compensation will be offered based on:
  • The job requirements and
  • The candidate experience.
YEAR END BONUS: One month salary in December prorated from date onboard in any year.
VACATION (Based on Number of Service years in the company) 0 - 5 years = 24 working days.
6 - 10 years = 25 working days.
11 - 15 years = 27 working days.
16 - 20 years = 28 working days.
21 and over = 29 working days.
VACATION TICKET : Lump-sum payment through payroll equal to Economy Excursion ticket for the employee and dependents to the capital of country of origin as specified at the time of employment.
MEDICAL PLAN : Refund of charges, subject to medical benefits at 75% and hospitalization at 100%, except Operation Charges.
SCHOOLING PLAN : For dependent children from the age of 4 up to 19. Plan covers 2 years pre-primary, primary, intermediate and secondary education. (Summer Schooling & University excluded). Reimbursement at 80% of actual expenses limited to:-

From Age 4 to cover 2 year pre-primary:-
Dhs.12000/- per year per child.

From Primary 1 (Age 6-19):-
Dhs.19,200/- per year/child.
Maximum reimbursement limited to 4 months basic salary of employee per school year for all children.
MOVING-IN LOAN : For employees hired from abroad only. Loan up to a maximum of 2 month salary deducted over 24 months or the duration of the employment whichever is shorter.
WORK SCHEDULE : 8 hours/day over 5 days per week.
GROUP LIFE INSURANCE : 52 months salary.
Varying Scales in case of accidents.
END OF SERVICE : You will be entitled for ESI as per the UAE Labor Law.
