SUMMARY:
The Flash Designer leverages both top-notch design sensibility, as well as strong technical aptitude to conceptualize and develop assets for online merchandising and marketing campaigns, including banners, emails, promo spots, pop ups, widgets and micro sites.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with Sr. Designer to create and adapt concepts to entire campaign
  • Tailor campaigns to different visual systems for multiple brands
  • Develop and maintain Flash assets
  • Procure images to support concepts
  • Per creative requests from Marketing, collaborate with other design team members, as well as Copy, Product and UI Engineering teams to deliver final assets
  • Present ideas and concepts to various stakeholders
 
Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field
  • 2+ years professional experience in interactive design and production
  • Expertise with leading design software, including Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Expertise in ActionScript required
  • Strong animation skills
  • Strong typographic skills, including knowledge of web typography
  • Knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Excellent organization skills to manage vast image library and file archives
  • Excellent time management skills, including ability to manage multiple creative projects efficiently and simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to take art direction and constructive criticism
  • Ability to balance great design with short deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail.
